Grand Knight
In 1882 a group of laymen was gathered by Father Michael McGivney. Their purpose was to form a fraternal benefit society to provide insurance for widows and to offer fellowship to Catholic men. This group became the Knights of Columbus.

In the 129 years since then, the Knights of Columbus have grown to more than 1.7 million members located in over 13,000 councils throughout the world. The Buhl Council 2685 was chartered in the 1930's. We provide charity works and donations to needy groups.
